New York Yankeers slugger Giancarlo Stanton will likely make his way back to the team in the coming weeks after he was officially diagnosed with a relatively mild grade 1 hamstring strain, according to MLB Network’s Jon Heyman.

Stanton, 30, was having a resurgent season for the Yankees, but he will have to wait a bit longer to rejoin the team as he looks to recover from the hamstring issue.

Stanton has posted a .293/.453/.585 batting line thus far this season.
