Bengals, Joe Mixon Agree to Four-Year, $48 Million Contract Extension

The Cincinnati Bengals and veteran running back Joe Mixon have agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $48 million, according to ESPN’s Ben Baby.

The language of Mixon’s new deal was still being finalized on Tuesday afternoon and financial details of the extension was first reported by the NFL Network.

Mixon, 24, has been absent from practice as he has been dealing with migraines, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said to reporters.

Mixon rushed for 1,136 yards and five touchdowns during the 2019 season, his second consecutive season topping the 1,000 yard mark.
