The Detroit Lions and left tackle Taylor Decker have agreed to terms on a six-year, $85 million contract, according to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein.
Decker’s new deal includes $37.5 million fully guaranteed, according to his agents official Twitter announcement.
Decker was the first draft selection of general manager Bob Quinn, and was selected with the 16th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has spent his entire career as the full-time starter and blindside protector for franchise quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Decker has started all 55 games he’s played in for the Lions, and has even hauled in one reception during his time in Detroit — and 11-yard touchdown reception during Week 17 of the 2018 season.
