Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay is dealing with turf toe, leaving his status for Week 2 in question, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Lindsay left Monday night’s game against the Tennessee Titans after carrying the ball 7 times for a total of 24 yards, while also hauling in one reception.
With Lindsay out of the game, the Broncos leaned on Melvin Gordon who finished with 78 yards on 15 carries and caught three passes for 8 yards in relief.
Fantasy owners should monitor Lindsay, as turf toe could be a lingering issue that could mean more playing time for Gordon, who could take lead back carries as Lindsay navigates through the injury.
