Bucs’ Mike Evans Trending to Play Week 1

1 Min Read

Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ wide receiver Mike Evans is reportedly “ok” and is at practice after dealing with a hamstring injury, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Evans suffered a hamstring injury and missed practice Tuesday and Wednesday, and head coach Bruce Arians listed him as “day-to-day”.

Evans dealt with a hamstring injury during the 2019 season, and missed 3 games due to it, but it was unclear if the hamstring injury occurred on the same leg.

“We’ll take it all the way to the wire with him,” Arians said, according to ESPN’s Jenna Laine. “He’s got 1,000 reps already for this game, the whole camp. So it’ll just be a game-time decision. If he doesn’t go Friday, we’ll take it all the way to the ballgame. If he can’t play, other guys will step in and step up.”

Evans looks like he is a go for the Bucs season opener, meaning fantasy owners can lock him in their starting lineup.
