Earl Thomas Likely Signing with Texans

Free agent veteran safety Earl Thomas will be working out for the Houston Texans and will likely be signing with the team, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Thomas, 31, has stayed on the free agent market following his release from the Baltimore Ravens, who terminated Thomas’ contract for personal conduct that adversely affected the team.

The Texans, who are currently 0-3, are in desperate need of a defensive boost, allowing 28 points in every game they have played this season, and failing to notch one takeaway this season.
