The Las Vegas Raiders have officially placed veteran offensive lineman Richie Incognito on the injured reserve, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Incognito left Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints due to an Achilles injury, and although he avoided an ACL tear, he is expected to be out of action until Week 6.
In a corresponding move, the Raiders moved rookie guard John Simpson to left guard to take over for Incognito, and his roster spot will be given to veteran guard Patrick Omemeh.
