Bucs’ O.J. Howard Out for Season

1 Min Read

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without tight end O.J. Howard for the remainder of the season as he suffered a torn achilles during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Bucs’ head coach Bruce Arians made the announcement following the comeback victory.

Howard was off to a solid performance against the Chargers, hauling in a touchdown and logging 50 receiving yards prior to the injury.

With Howard out of action, the Bucs will rely more on Rob Gronkowski, who has been a major disappointment since coming out of retirement to join Tampa Bay this offseason.
