The Dallas Cowboys had reportedly “made it known” that veteran defensive end Everson Griffin is available in trade, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Dallas trading Griffin, despite being in the mix in the NFC East division, would unload around half of his $6 million salary left this season.
Griffin, 33, signed with the Cowboys over the summer with the hopes of helping the Cowboys contend for an NFL Championship.
Given just how rough the season has been for Dallas, this could be a sign that they are prepared to trade away talent as the trade deadline approaches.
