The Carolina Panthers should be getting wide receiver Curtis Samuel back for their Week 6 game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
According to ESPN’s David Newton, Samuel is expected to play against Chicago, and Panthers’ head coach Matt Rhule said Samuel’s status would depend “on how he feels” prior to kick-off, meaning it’s likely a gametime decision.
Given that Samuel has seen work as a wide out, and even as a running back, he provides excellent fantasy value and should be rostered. He may be a risky play for Week 6, but should be a lock, provided he isn’t re-injured, starting next week.
