Bengals Activate Sam Hubbard, Place John Ross On IR

1 Min Read

The Cincinnati Bengals have activated defensive end Sam Hubbard from the injured reserve list on Saturday after he missed the past three games due to an elbow injury.

In a corresponding move, the Bengals moved wide receiver John Ross to their injured reserve list. Ross has not been active since Week 6 and has not logged a reception since Week 1 of the season due to a number of injuries.

According to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo, Ross encountered more issues with his injured foot during practice this week. Cincinnati had been exploring moving Ross to cornerback, but the issue occurred while he was working his familar wide receiver position.
