The Miami Dolphins have activated linebacker Kyle Van Noy from the Injured Reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday, which could lead the way for him to play against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Van Noy’s test on Sunday must come back negative if he wants to be fully cleared to play against the Chargers today, but if not he will have to wait until next week to rejoin the lineup.

Van Noy, along with defensive tackle Christian Wilkins were places on the reserve/COVID-19 list during the week, and Wikins’ status for Sunday’s game is also up in the air.

According to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, Van Noy’s placement stems from contract tracing.
