The Boston Bruins are reportedly trying to move veteran defenseman Urho Vaakanainen, according to Boston Hockey Now’s Joe Haggerty.

Vaakanainen, 21, has spent the majority of his time in the United States in the AHL with Providence, and collected five goals and nine assists over 54 games last season.

Vaakanainen has played in just two games with the Bruins since he was selected with the 17th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.
