The Indianapolis Colts have signed veteran punter Ryan Allen, who has played in just nine games over the past two seasons, to their practice squad.
Ryan has struggled to find a long-term home since his tenure ended with the New England Patriots, and was recently released from the Tennessee Titans practice squad last month.
Allen will take the place of punter Rigoberto Sanchez, who was recently diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery to address a cancerous tumor earlier this week.
