Minkah Fitzpatrick Disagrees That Steelers Have ‘Physicality’ Issue

1 Min Read

The Pittsburgh Steelers may be in a bit of a slump the last few weeks, following losses to Washington and the Buffalo Bills, but safety Minkah Fitzpatrick doesn’t agree with the notion that the team has a “physicality issue”.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that the team lacked physicality, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver James Washington shared the same thoughts, but Fitzpatrick clearly disagrees.

“I don’t think it’s necessarily a lack of physicality that led to the things that happen on the last two games”, Fitzpatrick said, according to the Steelers Depot. “It’s late in the season and people are a little beat up and whatnot, but I don’t think a lack of physicality is a concern for this defense or for this team at all. We did practice in pads last week. Just to work on being physical and shedding blocks and wrapping up and stuff like that”.

The Steelers are looking to get back on track in Week 15 as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
