Bears’ Matt Nagy Discusses Job Status

2 Min Read

The Chicago Bears may be looking to make some changes following their Wild Card loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, and one of those changes could be moving on from head coach Matt Nagy.

While Nagy managed to get the Bears to the playoffs, it was still a rough season for Chicago, one with uncertainty at quarterback and one that saw offensive struggles cost them on Sunday.

“We haven’t gotten into any of that in regards to that stuff,” Nagy said following the game, according to NFL.com’s Nick Shook. “Like I told y’all at the beginning of the week, we’ve been so focused in on this game, and then the same thing goes with the staff. It’s probably not just our staff, it’s probably a lot of staffs; whether it’s promotions or demotions or whatever, there’s always change, that’s just how it goes.

“So, that’s something that tomorrow for us, as a team, we’ll do all of our exit interviews and all of that stuff and talk to the guys, but that’ll be down the road. I’m just at a point right now where I could literally say I just appreciate the fight of these players and tomorrow we’ll discuss the other stuff.”
