Packers Sign Jared Veldheer

1 Min Read

The Green Bay Packers are signing veteran offensive lineman Jared Veldheer days following Veldheer playing for the Indianapolis Colts in their Wild Card loss to the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

With the signing, Veldheer will become the first player in NFL history to play at least one postseason game for two different organizations in the same year. Veldheer was initially placed on the practice squad by the Colts, which allowed the Packers to sign him.

Veldheer, 33, has played 12 seasons in the NFL, bouncing around the league, and has been with the Colts since he signed with them back in December.
