Wizards Not Entertaining Bradley Beal Trade

1 Min Read

Despite another brutal season the Washington Wizards are not looking to blow up their roster as the NBA trade deadline approaches, which includes putting prized superstar Bradley Beal on the table in trade discussions, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

“He (Beal) is not going to be on the trade market here in the near future, and he’s not expressed, really at all yet, that he’s ready to move on,” Wojnarowski said. “He has loved that city, that organization, and he’s fought through a lot there, and he’s fighting through a lot right now.”

The report went on to say that if the Wizards were to trade Beal, the return would be “massive”. The Wizards are currently 3-12 on the season and sitting in last place in the Eastern Conference. Washington’s record is currently the worst in the league, just behind the Minnesota Timberwolves who are currently 4-14.

Beal is currently leading the league in scoring with 35.4 points per game, and is in the first year of a two-year, $72 million contract extension.
