Despite the Houston Texans giving zero indication that they are entertaining trading superstar Deshaun Watson, despite his trade demand, it won’t slow the rumor mill that keeps on churning up trade scenarios and destinations for the signal caller.

On the same day that the Texans parted ways with franchise pass-rusher J.J. Watt, reports have surfaced that state Watson is eyeing two particular teams as the offseason begins.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos are two franchises that are on Watson’s list of destinations he would agree to a trade to. Watson has a no-trade clause in his contract.

The Broncos were among the teams that were in the mix to acquire Matthew Stafford, who landed with the Los Angeles Rams, and they are believed to be looking to upgrade the quarterback position this offseason.

The 49ers hold the 12th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and also have a number of young talent to build with, and talent that could interest Houston in trade discussions.

The report goes on to say that the New York Jets, who were at one point one of the frontrunners to land Watson, are not especially high on Watson’s list. Watson is still interested in a potential trade to the Miami Dolphins.
