Former Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt is being courted by a number of teams as he continues to explore his options since the Texans agreed to release the future Hall of Famer last week, and his search seems to be narrowing down as time goes on.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot, Watt is is seriously considering signing with the Cleveland Browns, where he would team with star defensive end Myles Garrett to form a formidable defensive pass rush. Cleveland certainly could use the boost, as they ranked 25th in defensive DVOA last season.
Watt has also been connected to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers, and Buffalo Bills.
