Just a few days following the trade that brought veteran defensive lineman Michael Brockers to the Detroit Lions from the Los Angeles Rams, for a 7th round draft pick, the Lions have inked Brockers to a new deal.
According to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo, Detroit signed Brockers to a three-year, $24 million contract, which includes $11 million in guarantees.
Brockers, 30, now joins former Rams teammate Jared Goff in Detroit, and adds a reliable veteran to the Lions defensive front. Brockers has only missed six games over the course of the last nine seasons.
