Packers Expected to Pick Up Jaire Alexander’s Fifth-Year Option

1 Min Read

The Green Bay Packers are expected to pick up veteran All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander’s fifth-year option, according to Packers general manager Brian Gutenkunst (h/t ESPN’s Rob Demovsky).

The Packers will now have to see if they can work out a long-term deal with Alexander. The fifth-year option for Alexander is valued at $13.29 million, which is at that pricetag because Alexander made the Pro Bowl in 2020.

Alexander, 24, was selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft and earned All-Rookie team honors.
