Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid is set to undergo an MRI for a right knee injury that he suffered during Game 4 of their series against the Washington Wizards, an injury that forced Embiid to exit the game, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

Sixers coach Doc Rivers said Embiid would have an MRI on Tuesday and it is currently unclear whether or not Embiid will be able to play in Game 5 in Philadelphia. The Sixers lead the series 3-1 following the Wizards’ win in Game 4.

Embiid was hurt when he fell to the floor following a mid-air collision with Wizards center Robin Lopez only seven minutes into the game. Lopez blocked Emiid’s shot cleanly, but Embiid seemed to have lost his balance on the way down, causing him to crash into the floor.

“We’re going to need him to be the last team standing, to win,” 76ers guard Danny Green said. “It doesn’t mean we can’t win the next game without him.”

The Sixers clearly struggled with Embiid out of the game, and the Wizards took advantage, scoring 48 points in the paint without Embiid manning the middle.
