Wizards’ Russell Westbrook, Bradley Beal Talks Game 4 Fan Incident

1 Min Read

The Washington Wizards avoided a series sweep and took Game 4 from the Philadelphia 76ers, capitalizing on the injury to Sixers big man Joel Embiid, who was forced to exit the game during the first quarter.

But one of the main stories coming out of the game was another incident involving an unruly fan, one who stormed the court late in the third quarter. The fan was tackled by security near the Sixers bench.

“This is our job. This is not a game or some shit where you can run around and do whatever,” Wizards guard Russell Westbrook said, according to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports.

“I don’t want to use my hood term, but these hands work,” Beal added.

Fans have been an unfortunate storyline around the NBA playoffs with their out-of-line behavior, from tossing bottles at players to running onto the court during games. Security will have their hands full moving forward.
