Patriots’ Mac Jones Talks Loss to Cowboys

1 Min Read

In one of the most exciting games to take place on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys narrowly defeated the New England Patriots in a comeback overtime victory that marked another close loss for the Pats.

Following the game, Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones talked about the harsh lessons of losing close games.

“When you look at the big picture, you never want to say you’re close; it’s hard to do that” Jones said, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “But the games we’ve lost, we’ve been 2 or 3 plays away. I guess that is just how the NFL works. I’m learning that the hard way.”

“Tough one to lose tonight,” Belichick added. “Thought we went toe-to-toe with them for 60 minutes. They just made a ew more plays than we did.”

New England is now 2-4 on the season.
