Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans entered the history books by becoming the all-time touchdown leader in franchise history following his 72nd career touchdown during Monday night’s game against the New York Giants.
Evans, 28, broke the record previously held by Mike Alstott.
“I’m very proud of that accomplishment. Hopefully, I can extend it really far. A-Train was an unbelievable player & I’m happy to be in the same sentence with him – let alone break his record.” Evans said following the game, according to BN9’s Chris Torello.
