Karl-Anthony Towns Reflects on Season Following Timberwolves Season Ends

1 Min Read

Minnesota Timberwolves star center Karl-Anthony Towns reflected on his journey with the franchise following their series ending loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night that brought their season to an end.

The Wolves will have a lot to think about this offseason, and will need to learn from blowing a number of leads in the series against Memphis, a series that could have turned out a lot differently for Minnesota if they were able to hold leads.

Following a number of seasons of losing and lack of help, the Wolves finally seem to be on the right path following a successful season that saw them land in a playoff series.

“How much this city has made me enjoy basketball again” Towns said, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press’ Jace Frederick. “I stood at halfcourt and just thought about everything I’ve been through. I’m very appreciative of how far I’ve come, and the guys I have in this locker room and the honor its been to play w/ them”.

The Wolves will enter the offseason with a contract extension looming for Towns.
