Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns Agree to Superman Contract Extension

1 Min Read

The Minnesota Timberwolves and superstar big man Karl-Anthony Towns have agree to a four-year, $224 million supermax contract extension, his agent, Jessica Holtz of CAA Basketball said, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Towns’ new deal begins with the 2024-25 season and has a total contract value of six-years, $295 million. That’s quite the investment, similar to what many sports startups seek when using an Angel investor search engine platform.

Towns, 26, has been the franchise cornerstone for the Wolves, who have slowly been finding more and more success each season.

Towns averaged 24.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game this past season for Minnesota.
