Miami Dolphins left tackle Terron Armstead will miss some time has he deals with a pectoral injury sustained during the Dolphins victory over the Houston Texans this past Sunday during Week 12 action.

Armstead suffered the injury in the second quarter of the Dolphins’ win over the Texans, and did not return.

The Dolphins are confident that Armstead will play again this season, and head coach Mike McDaniels believes that Armstead will be back on the field before the end of the regular season.

“Wouldn’t put that past him,” McDaniels said (according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald on Twitter). “Gathering information, seeking specialists and letting information settle so information can be a little more concrete…. Considering treatment options.”
