Falcons’ Kyle Pitts Out Remainder Of Season

1 Min Read

Atlanta Falcons veteran tight end Kyle Pitts is out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on Tuesday to repair the MCL in his right knee, Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said on Wednesday.

Pitts, 22, had injured the knee in the second half of Atlanta’s win over the Chicago Bears back on November 20th and was out for the Falcons game against the Washington Commanders. Smith added that he believes the injury will not have impact on Pitts’ 2023 season.

“We’ll just have to see,” Smith said, according to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein. “Nothing that concerns us for real games in the season.”

Pitts has hauled in 28 catches for 356 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games this season for Atlanta.
