Former Broncos Running Back Ronnie Hillman Dies at 31

Former Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman died after battling cancer as the age of 31, according to an official announcement made by his family on Thursday.

Hillman was a third-round pick by the Broncos in the 2012 NFL draft out of San Diego State and went on to play on two Super Bowl teams including the Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 championship team.

Hillman played five games for the Minnesota Vikings and three games for the Chargers in 2016, which ended up being his final season that he would play in any regular season games.
