Titans’ Could Trade Derrick Henry This Offseason

1 Min Read

The Tennessee Titans may be looking to completely overhaul their team this offseason, with the likely departure of quarterback Ryan Tannehill on tap, but the team may also be looking to move on from their All-Pro running back as well.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington (h/t Sports Illustrated), the Titans could look to trade Henry saying, during an appearance on ‘Get Up’, that “You want to trade a guy before it’s too late,” before adding “Maybe they get something. Trade away Derrick Henry to the Buffalo Bills. Just speculating here, but man, that’d be a fun one.”

Adding Henry, 29, to an already potent Bills offense would be quite the boost. Henry is set to enter the final season of his current contract, so a trade is certainly reasonable speculation.

Henry is coming off a season where he finished second in the league in both rushing yards (1,538) and rushing yards per game (96.1), first in carries (349) and tied for second in rushing touchdowns (13).
