Dodgers Moving On from Julio Urías

1 Min Read

The Los Angeles Dodgers are moving on from pitcher Julio Urias following his arrest and after the team painted over/covered murals of Urias that were visible at Dodger Stadium as well as replacing him in the clubhouse.

“I think so,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said when asked by MLB journalists if the team had moved on from Urias, according to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times. “That’s where we’re at. There’s not much for me to comment on the fact that it’s just like I said on the first day, it’s just it’s a very very unfortunate sad situation.”

Urias’ locker was replaced and now belongs to Kolten Wong, according to SportsNet LA’s David Vassegh.

Urias has been placed on administrative leave and is scheduled to hit free agency this winter.
