Dallas Cowboys 2018 Draft Preview

In 2017, the Dallas Cowboys were playing for the first time without veteran quarterback Tony Romo, who is now in the Broadcast booth for CBS Sports. Now, it’s all on second year quarterback Dak Prescott to do what Romo couldn’t…Win a Super Bowl. In Dak’s second season, some of his stats went on the decline, and running back Ezekiel Elliott fighting the law, the Cowboys went 9-7 and missed out on making the playoffs.

2018 is going to be a make or break for Head Coach Jason Garrett Jerry Jones. In April of this year, the 2018 NFL Draft will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Second, they have to compete not once, but twice against their division rivals the Philadelphia Eagles. Third and probably the most important thing is filling the gaps that were made during Free Agency.

Dallas Cowboys key players Orlando Scandrick, Kyle Wilber, Anthony Hitchens, and Anthony Cooper have all left the Cowboys and are now on other teams for the 2018 season. So, in order for the Dallas Cowboys to get to Super Bowl 53 this season, they will have to pick wisely with the 19th overall pick in the third round of the draft.

You can watch the 2018 NFL Draft live from Arlington, Texas starting April 26 through the 28. You can watch the draft on ESPN, ESPN2, NFL Network, and for the first time ever with Joe Kalk and Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman, Fox Sports will also cover the first two rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft
