Mike Tyson Signs Contract to Fight Roy Jones Jr. While Smoking Joint

1 Min Read

Mike Tyson officially made the announcement of his return to boxing and his first fight since 2005, as he will take on Roy Jones Jr in an 8-round exhibition taking place on September 12th in California.

Due to COVID-19, no fans will be in attendance for the 54-year old Tyson’s return, but that won’t stop the event from making it’s fair share of coin.

Triller, which is a social media app looking to compete with TikTok, paid out roughly $50 million for the rights to the fight event.

The event won’t lack for the interesting, as former NBA guard Nate Robinson is set to fight YouTuber Jake Paul on the undercard.

Tyson, who hasn’t fought since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005, signed his contract in style as well, by smoking a joint.
