The Cincinnati Bengals will be without defensive tackle D.J. Reader for the remainder of the season after he suffered a quad injury, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Dave Clark.

Reader was forced out of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, and had to be taken off the field on a cart.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero, Reader is indeed out for the season, and the team is bracing for the worst as they await tests when he gets back to Cincinnati.
