The Seattle Seahawks have released veteran tight end Luke Wilson, a former fifth-round draft pick, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Wilson spent the first five seasons of his career with the Seahawks, and spent the 2018 season with the Detroit Lions and the Las Vegas Raiders before returning to Seattle in 2019.
The move opens up a roster spot for the Seattle to activate rookie tight end Colby Parkinson, and keep four tight ends on the active roster.
