The Sacramento Kings selected Marvin Bagley III over Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic back in the 2018 NBA Draft, and the second-guessing from fans and analysts hasn’t stopped since.
Bagley has heard it all, and he doesn’t care.
“You see it, you hear it, but I pay it no mind,” Bagley said, according to ESPN’s Zach Lowe. “I’m not here to please anyone outside the team. I’m here to help the team win. I’m here to help this organization get to places it has never been.”
Bagley is hoping to put an injury plagued 2019 season behind him, where he was limited to only 13 games, and make a big step forward in his development in 2020.
