Spurs, Hornets Games Postponed Following Players Testing Positive

Four San Antonio Spurs players have tested positive for the coronavirus and the next three Spurs games have been officially postponed, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Charlotte Hornets, who played the Spurs on Sunday, are now entering the NBA’s contact tracing protocols and will have their next two games postponed, per the report and confirmed by an official statement from the NBA.

The league added that additional contact tracing is required for players on the Spurs and Hornets rosters.

If things go smoothly, the Spurs next game will be next Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oklahoma City, while the Hornets next game could be on Saturday, at home, against the Golden State Warriors.

A total of 29 NBA regular season games have now been postponed this season due to COVID-19, according to Hoops Rumors tracker.
