The Chicago Bulls and superstar guard Zach LaVine have agreed to a five-year, $215 million max contract extension, Klutch Sports announced Friday, ensuring that the two-time All-Star remains in Chicago.
LaVine, 27, has ascended since arriving in Chicago as part of the Jimmy Butler deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves to become a complete offensive player, averaging 23.7 points per game in each of the past four seasons.
LaVine averaged 24.4 points, 4.5 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game for the Bulls this past season, and won a gold medal with Team USA in Tokyo last summer.
