The New York Knicks have agreed to terms with free agent center Mitchell Robinson on a four-year, $60 million contract that will keep him in the Big Apple, his agents, Thad Foucher and Joe Smith of Wasserman Basketball said, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Coming off an injury-plagued 2020-2021 season, Robinson played in a career-high 72 games last season, averaging 8.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game while shooting 76.1% from the field,  the highest in NBA history for a player with more than 250 shot attempts, according to Stathead.com.

Robinson, 24, is also a stout defender and valued rim protector for the Knicks.
