Commanders’ Chase Young Set to Miss First Four Games

The Washington Commanders will be without star defensive end Chase Young for the first four games of the season, as Young was officially moved to the reserve/physically unable to perform list Tuesday.

Young opened Commanders training camp on the active/PUP list after tearing his right ACL and MCL against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in November of the 2021 season, and underwent reconstructive surgery as a result.

Young will be eligible to return on October 9th, when the Commanders take on the Tennessee Titans.
