Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will have one of his offensive weapons ready to roll in time for the 2022 regular season and team owner and general manager Jerry Jones provided an exciting update on receiver Michael Gallup.
Gallup has been making his was back from an ACL injury, and during an appearance on 105.3 The FAN, Jones said that he’s pleased with how Gallup’s recovery has progressed. Gallup tore his ACL in a home game against the Arizona Cardinals back in January.
“I couldn’t be more pleased about how he’s pleased with his status and how coaches are pleased… He can do anything you ask of him right now” Jones said on the show, according to The Athletic’s Jon Machota.
CeeDee Lamb, rookie Jalen Tolbert, and tight end Dalton Schultz are still viable weapons for Prescott, but Gallup’s return will provide a major boost.
