Commanders Bringing Back Jamison Crowder

1 Min Read

The Washington Commanders are bringing back veteran wide receiver Jamison Crowder and are signing the wideout to their practice squad to start the new season, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Crowder could be a potential early season call up, returning to the team that drafted him in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Crowder spent four seasons in Washington before signing with the New York Jets in 2019.

Crowder also played four games for the Buffalo Bills in 2022, hauling in 6 passes for 60 yards.

Adding Crowder will be a much needed boost to the Commanders receiving room, where the likes of Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel and Jahan Dotson are all listed on the Commanders roster, but McLaurin is dealing with a toe injury.
