Los Angeles Rams starting quarterback Matthew Stafford is looking to play in big games, such as the playoffs, after spending years in mediocrity playing for the Detroit Lions, who traded him this offseason.
Now that Stafford is on a new team, with loftier expectations, he has one goal in mind.
“I just want to play in big games, you know?” Stafford said, according to ESPN’s Seth Wickersham. “I want to have opportunities to make big-time plays in the fourth quarter against really good teams, in big moments, rather than a one o’clock game on a Sunday somewhere.”
Stafford spent 12 seasons with the Lions but failed to win a playoff game.
