Miami Dolphins wide receiver Preston Williams had a hot start to his rookie campaign before the undrafted free agent suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, promptly ending his season in Week 9 of last season.
Now, Williams has cleared another hurdle in his journey to return to the field; being officially cleared to return.
Dolphins’ head coach Brian Flores said that Williams has been officially cleared for football activity, during a video conference call with reporters on Monday.
Williams hauled in 32 passes for 428 yards and 3 TDs in 8 games last season for Miami.
