The Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing in former Washington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins for a visit on Thursday, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Haskins, who also drew interest from the Carolina Panthers recently, could provide some depth at quarterback for Pittsburgh, and could come at a low-risk cost.
Washington drafted Haskins in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but cut him earlier this season following poor performance and lack of improvement, among other reasons.
Haskins, 23, threw for just 1,439 yards, 5 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in his 7 games with Washington during the 2020 season.
